Your personal information will remain private and will not be shared.
I currently rent, should I use PayHOA?
PayHOA is currently used by homeowners or management companies who manage a property on behalf of the owner in order to pay dues. If you are not currently a homeowner, you do not need to sign up for PayHOA. We do encourage you to sign up for Nextdoor and join our community as a neighbor so you can connect with other residents in our neighborhood. If you are renting your home or have a management company responsible for paying your annual dues, either the homeowner or an individual representative from the management company should be aware of the annual dues.
What updates to my home require ARC approval?
All exterior updates to your home require authorization from the Architectural Review Committee. New roofs, updates to paint (new or repainting), fences, exterior structures such as sheds or gazebos all require the ARC approval prior to starting work. Please review the community rules and regulations for your project. The ARC has 30 days to approve all projects at the time they are submitted, it's best to get them sent in early before starting your project. Submissions to the ARC can be done using the online homeowner portal PayHOA.com.
How long does it take to get ARC approval?
ARC requests will be approved bi-monthly on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Ensuring that your ARC request form is fully completed a week prior to these meeting dates will allow the ARC to review your request in a timely manner. If information is incomplete, your request may need to wait for approval until the next ARC review date. Please note that installing a fence without prior ARC approval may require removal at the homeowner’s expense as well as applicable fines.
I like Nextdoor, does PayHOA replace that?
Nextdoor and PayHOA platforms both serve different purposes. Nextdoor allows you to connect with your neighbors within Si View and the surrounding neighborhoods in the City of North Bend. It is a social platform for sharing within our neighborhood and the community at large. PayHOA is a convenient online portal that provides our homeowners a quick way to handle association tasks such as paying annual dues or making ARC requests as well as other features.
What features does PayHOA offer?
Paying annual dues online is just one feature of PayHOA. In the portal you can create your HOA dues demand statement to provide during a sale or refinance of your home. Need to make an update to the exterior of your home? Create an ARC request quickly by uploading the required forms. There is also additional information about your home, unit/parcel number and original builder information can also be found on the general tab under additional fields.
How much are the annual dues, what are they used for?
The association's fiscal operating budget is proposed and voted on at the annual homeowner meeting held on the first Wednesday in November. The amount of the dues can vary from year to year depending on the future needs of maintenance items the association is responsible. Homeowner dues cover landscaping, watering and electricity of the common areas as well as provide funds for special events, attorney's fees, mailings and newsletters. Details for how/when the association spends funds can be found here.
Should I attend the annual homeowner meeting?
Yes! Your input is important and the association has adopted many ideas contributed by homeowners in previous years. Help is always appreciated on the board to fulfill all volunteer positions. If you cannot attend in person, it is critically important to return your proxy ballot either by mail or with a trusted neighbor who can attend on your behalf. The ability to ratify the annual budget and appoint positions requires a quorum of votes from homeowners.
Does our neighborhood have pre-approved home colors?
Currently our association does not maintain a set of pre-approved home paint colors. Paint color trends change and we want our neighborhood to be able to reflect changing trends in paint color as long as they still fit within the styles of our homes. Specific home painting instructions can be found in the Governance section. Fences do have specific pre-approved color and can also be found in the appropriate fence guide in the same section.
I have questions about the neighborhood, how can I contact the board?
We welcome any comments, questions, or concerns in the neighborhood. If you need to reach anyone on the board, please contact us.
